LinkedIn is a business-oriented networking site mainly used for professional networking. As of June 2013, it had more than 259 million registered users, spanning more than 170 industries. This hands-on workshop will guide job seekers through intensive basics of LinkedIn*, which is quickly becoming an essential networking tool for job seekers. The workshop has three components: The first is a YouTube video that is a tutorial on “how to” create a profile, in a step by step fashion. Next we’ll review two PowerPoint presentations: Creating a Compelling LinkedIn Profile and Leveraging Your LinkedIn Profile will review what to consider as you create the profile and how to best utilize the site once your profile is complete
